How to obtain information about the Sydney Opera House

As a next step, we encourage you to make an informal request for information by contacting our Right to Information Officer, which allows for a more flexible engagement process.

As a last resort, you may need to make a formal access application to request specific information. If you wish to lodge a formal application, please request an application form. Please note that costs may be applicable for processing formal applications under the Government Information Public Access Act.

Your right to information under the GIPA Act

The Government Information Public Access Act 2009 (GIPA Act) outlines the public’s rights to information and encourages government agencies to proactively release government information. It requires the Sydney Opera House to make certain government information publicly available.
