Renowned Chinese baritone Liao Changyong and brilliant German pianist Hartmut Höll will make their debut to Australia and New Zealand in November this year. They perform Chinese Art Songs based on poems from one thousand years from the time of the Tang Dynasty (617- 907) to the present day.

Liao Changyong is regarded as China’s No. 1 Baritone. His illustrious career has shone brightly on international opera and concert stages. He has played leading roles in numerous opera classics, including The Barber of Seville, Rigoletto, and A Masked Ball. In recent years, Liao has devoted himself to creating and performing original Chinese operas and art songs. Plácido Domingo once praised him as “a genuine, China-made, world-class singer.”
