Stories breaking live for one night only

For the first time ever, the Sydney Opera House becomes a live radio magazine show, hosted by crowd favourite Annabel Crabb. Crafted storytelling meets immersive sound design, as some of our finest storytellers follow their curiosity and take you from the waters off Port Lincoln to the inner sanctum of Sydney’s psychic circles, and more…

Former Radiolab journalist Rachael Cusick confronts her fears to come face to face with a great white shark and discovers a majestic beast that might hold the key to our survival. Ange Lavoipierre digs deep into Sydney’s growing psychic scene and puts the bounds of belief, faith and truth to the test. Hailed as the finest novelist in the world today, Richard Flanagan premieres a new essay live on stage, and host Annabel Crabb reveals the art of the interview.

Conceived by Pop Up Magazine co-founder Douglas McGray, commissioned by the Curious team, and executive produced by Mike Williams, this is rare fusion of storytelling, craft and the power of sound. You’ve never experienced journalism quite like this.
