THOM YORKE: EVERYTHING

One of the greatest musicians of our time on his first-ever solo tour

Sydney – Monday 3 June, 2024. On his first-ever solo tour, enigmatic UK powerhouse Thom Yorke will make his Sydney Opera House debut playing the Forecourt for two unmissable nights this November.

The visionary lead vocalist and frontman of Radiohead, who last toured Australia in 2012, will offer a unique perspective on his career, showcasing his vast catalogue including select Radiohead tracks alongside Yorke's various solo and soundtrack projects and his most recent work with The Smile.

Sydney Opera House Head of Contemporary Music, Ben Marshall says: “This is historic. I’m ecstatic to announce the long-awaited Opera House debut of one of the greatest musicians of our time. A multi-award-winning artist, Thom Yorke rose to cultural and critical acclaim throughout the 90s with his boundary-pushing reimagination of contemporary rock, and has soared through recent years with a plethora of wildly innovative solo and collaborative creative projects. Yorke will bring his hauntingly existential lyrics, inimitable falsetto and rapturous arrangements to the Forecourt for two nights only.”

Yorke's Opera House debut is announced hot on the heels of not one, but two new records; The Smile’s highly anticipated Wall of Eyes arrived in January 2024 and in April he released Confidenza, an original soundtrack for Italian director Daniele Luchetti’s film of the same name.

Thom Yorke is a musician, artist and composer whose career spans over 30 years. Lead singer of Radiohead, Yorke has also released three solo studio albums, is part of the group Atoms for Peace, has contributed music for various TV, film and theatre projects and, most recently, released two studio albums as one third of The Smile.
