A remarkable artist set to take the world by storm
Jeonghwan Kim is a remarkable artist now set to take the world by storm. He is the winner of both the First Prize and Eileen Joyce Best Overall Concerto Prize at the Sydney International Piano Competition 2023.
Artistic Director Piers Lane AO remarked that “[In] Jeonghwan Kim, we have a very complete pianist and artist – quite extraordinary for a young man who has just turned 23. His virtuosity is astounding, his accuracy in the most complex passages breathtaking. He’s got it all.”
Now this exceptional young artist returns to Australia as a Piano+Emerging Artist, ready to once again set the stage alight while performing selections from the works by Beethoven, Bartók, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.
