Stephanie Bendixsen's path to gaming and creative inspirations

Stephanie Bendixsen, better known as ‘Hex,’ is living proof that following your passions can open doors to incredible career opportunities. Steph will take students on her journey from avid gamer to one of Australia’s most recognized video game content creators and television presenters. Beyond gaming, Stephanie has also made her mark as an author, crafting stories that resonate with young readers.

In this engaging talk, Steph will explore her creative inspirations and the art of storytelling, both on and off screen. She'll delve into the evolution of video game narratives, the importance of strong female characters, and how STEM plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of gaming and beyond.

If your students have a question they would like to ask, you will have the opportunity to record it and send it in for Stephanie to answer on the day. Questions must be sent no later than 24 April 2025. Further instructions on how to do this will be sent to you upon booking.
