Dr. Matt will delve into the intriguing world of AI, exploring not only its fascinating applications but also the ethical implications that come with it. What is an algorithm, and can it help you choose a pizza topping? Can ChatGPT do your homework? And are robots going to take over the world? These are just a few of the questions we’ll explore, alongside key themes from Dr. Matt’s book. We will also discuss his extensive work and insights in AI, astrophysics, and engineering.
Dr. Matt Agnew is not just a scientist and a self-confessed nerd – he’s a communications powerhouse who has a gift for making STEM accessible for everyone. Matt’s approachable style ensures that complex STEM concepts are broken down into fun, and relatable discussions, sparking curiosity and inspiring students in their STEM studies

Our on-demand program, including performances, workshops and talks, are available for a minimum of 10 days after the premiere. This gives you greater flexibility to watch at a time and date that’s convenient to your class. To ensure your students get the most out of the experience, a Teachers’ Resource Pack is available for most programs. We recommend using these resources in advance of your digital excursion.
For the Digital Talks Program, your students can record their questions for the speaker and send them to us in advance of the talk. The details of how to do this will be emailed to you by our Creative Learning Team.
As the program is non-interactive, you can book for as many students as you like - a whole school booking of 500 or a single home learner - all are welcome and can be accommodated!
