Cultivator Donor Program

The Cultivators is a network of young philanthropists brought together by the Sydney Opera House and united by a shared passion for arts, culture and social impact. The support of this community helps realise our ambition to be Everyone’s House by championing community, intellectual exchange and meaningful engagement with the arts.

With your help, we can make Everyone’s House a reality through free and subsidised tickets, support for emerging artists, accessibility programs for people living with disability, creative learning workshops for kids and families, social and environmental impact programs, and so much more.

As a Cultivator, you’ll gain unique access to the inner workings of the Opera House, a World Heritage-listed masterpiece and a living work of art. From opening night performances to behind-the-scenes experiences to informal conversations with producers, you’ll see the results of your support up close. You’ll be part of a growing community of donors, building connections through learning, creativity and shared experiences. 

Cultivators enjoy a rich calendar of events designed to bring them closer to the Opera House and the impact of their generosity. Throughout the year, you will attend: 

Opening Night Celebrations
Experience the opening of major productions and seasons put on by Sydney Opera House Presents. Donors are invited to preview these unforgettable opening nights alongside artists, creative teams, government stakeholders and fellow supporters.

Signature Performances
Enjoy exclusive access to headline contemporary music concerts and other landmark performances on our largest stages including the Concert Hall and Forecourt. 

Insider Briefings
Go behind the scenes with the Opera House’s leadership team. In these engaging sessions, donors hear directly from CEO Louise Herron AM about upcoming projects, future plans, and the impact of donor support on our strategy to be Everyone's House.

Donor Salons
Hosted in the homes or workplaces of our generous supporters, these intimate gatherings bring together donors and Opera House representatives for thoughtful conversation, connection, and reflection on the shared impact of giving.

As a not-for profit organisation, the Opera House relies on philanthropy and partnerships to sustain and expand our most socially impactful programs. Cultivator donors make an annual tax-deductible gift, starting at $5,000.
