Mary Coustas in world premiere of This Is Personal

Mary Coustas, the celebrated Australian comedian, actress, writer and creator of the iconic 90s character Effie, will premiere her most intimate show to date, This Is Personal, in the Opera House’s Playhouse from 25 – 29 May 2022. The performance on 28 May at 7.30pm will be livestreamed to audiences around the world via the Opera House's online streaming platform, Stream.

The Sydney Opera House today announced Grammy Award-winning, Texan R&B artist and songwriter Leon Bridges will perform on stage in the renewed Concert Hall on Monday 3 October, 2022. The world-famous venue is due to reopen in mid-2022 after more than two years of extensive upgrades, which will transform the live experience for artists and audiences.

Bulnuruwanha (Taking Flight) at the Centre for Creativity

The world premiere of performance and workshop experience Bulnuruwanha (Taking Flight) by Wiradjuri woman and Bangarra Dance Theatre dancer Emily Flannery will lead the Opera House’s autumn program in its newly-opened Centre for Creativity.
