A madcap world of adventures from author Andy Griffiths

From writer Andy Griffiths (The Treehouse series) comes a new theatrical book adaptation that delights in silliness, imagination and problem-solving.

Journey through a wildly imaginative adventure in the colourful, curious world of The Land of Lost Things. Guided by the playful narration of “You” and “Me”, students are drawn into a fast-paced journey of unlikely characters, mysterious landscapes and hilarious challenges.

With talking books, pirate rabbits, snapping turtles and missing socks, this energetic performance celebrates creativity, silliness and the joy of storytelling. You and Me travel across the land meeting zany characters as they go. Named after their pronouns, You and Me embark on an adventure in their homemade adventure suits—cardboard box hats, toilet rolls, uggs and utility belts for comfort and function. The action-packed adventure follows Me as they search for their lost lucky rabbit’s foot, with the pair stuck in the land of lost things. With awesome inventions and fantastical vehicles, You and Me travel across the land meeting zany characters along the way. Naturally, before Me can find the rabbit’s foot, the crew get lost and are interrupted by a couple of swashbuckling villains out to steal treasure and stop You, Me and their growing crew from getting home.

In this energetic performance, students will feel like co-adventurers in the story.

Ideal for school groups, this production encourages curiosity, connection, laughter (and reading the book!)—and reminds us that getting lost can sometimes lead to the best discoveries...

This performance can be booked alongside the workshop Comic Book Illustration Workshops
